Matta Fair 2011, the largest travel fair in Malaysia, was held last weekend, on August 12 to 14. We went to the travel fair on Saturday. Boarded the train at Friday midnight from JB Sentral, arrived at KL Sentral the next day early in the morning, then took our breakfast at Petaling Street before headed to PWTC, the place where the Matta Fair was held. =D
Travelling is one of the must-dos before we have small children. And Matta Fair is just the best spot to check of great travel deals. This edition of travel fair offered the travel packages for people who plan for vacation for the end of the year, including us!

Concurrently, the Reliance Travel Fiesta was also held nearby. Let’s go GAGA!!!
We spent 15 minutes at the Reliance Travel Fiesta (we learnt about the Hong Kong Disneyland package. RM 4k per person!) before proceeded to the actual Matta Fair event. We paid RM 6 for entrance fee. (RM 3 per adult).

There were four halls that occupied all the participating booths. Hall 1 and 2 for International Travel, Hall 3 for Domestic Travel while Hall 1M hosted a special Wedding and Bridal Expo.
The moment we entered the hall (Hall 3), the Sabah Tourism booth has attracted our attention. There were around 30 booths that showcased the travel promotions for some of Sabah’s best and popular destinations. We took quite a lot of brochures to study. Lol… sorry we don’t need to take the package… We just want to study the travel itinerary and plan the trip ourselves. Sabah is not a big deal after all since my younger sister study there. =D

So what’s the travel deal that we have purchased? Only one — the 4 days 3 nights Star Cruise trip to Phuket and Krabi at RM 1000 per person. This December 18! Look like I gonna celebrate my birthday on the sea. =D
We will be boarding the Star Cruise Libra ship! Lol… can’t wait for December.
